Bastion Aotearoa recognised at the 2026 AXIS Awards
Bastion Aotearoa is celebrating a strong result at this year’s AXIS Awards, with multiple wins and finalist recognitions across the group.
Leading the honours was The Misses for Tower Insurance, which took home three Bronze AXIS Awards in Film Craft. The work was recognised for Casting, Production Design and Direction, highlighting the strength of the storytelling and craft behind the campaign.
The recognition reflects the care, creative ambition and production excellence that brought the work to life, reinforcing the power of sharp insight paired with outstanding execution.
Also recognised was Whittaker’s Christmas Window by Bastion Aotearoa, which secured Bronze for Art Direction and was also named a finalist in the Out of Home category. The campaign stood out for its ability to move beyond traditional media and into culture, creating work that resonated with audiences in a memorable and visually distinctive way.
Further adding to the group’s results, Volvo’s Getaway Gotaway, also by Bastion Aotearoa, was recognised as a finalist in Out of Home Art Direction. The campaign is another example of bold, visually-led creative that captures attention and leaves a lasting impression in market.
Together, these results reflect the kind of work Bastion Aotearoa is proud to put into the world, ideas that cut through, connect with people in culture and put our clients in a position of strength.
They also speak to the strength of the partnerships behind the work. A huge congratulations to the teams involved and to the clients who continue to back ambitious, creatively-led thinking.
